The objective of this work instruction is to ensure proper identification of responsibility areas for palay procurement and to have a systematic way in the procurement of wet and dry paddy rice. The main sources of raw materials are coming directly from Pangasinan rice farmers through appropriate rice variety that suites the market demand for the Filipino rice consumers.
Factors are considered like the paddy variety, purity and moisture content upon buying.
The mechanical drying operation Using the AILC bio-mas furnaced mechanical dryers are fed with rice hull, will be drying wet paddy specially on wet season. After drying, the grains will be stored and tempering period of 18 days to achieve higher milling recovery.
With the present condition wherein the cost of mechanical drying is abnormally high, solar drying method for wet paddy rice shall be considered as an austerity option given an appropriate weather condition.

Since the AILC Rice mill has the capability of producing high quality milled rice, we shall take into consideration the product development and the marketing of premium rice (50%), well-milled rice (30%) and premium milled rice (20%).
